Awesome service and terrific sushi

I went there for the first time today. Had the tempura shrimp lunch bento box. It was delicious. I will definitely be going back!

Always reliable and so tasty. We have eaten at the hibachi and at a table for meals and gotten excellent service and wonderful food. The happy hour is the best in the area and watch out for this Long Island Iced Teas.

I have loved everything I've ordered at akaihi. They have a great Happy Hour! This is my regular sushi place and I love it.

This place is AMAZING! The sushi here is phenomenal and I can say that with matter of fact. My husband lived in Japan for 3 years and is picky about his sushi now and he even said this place was really good. I don't even normally like sushi but I was stealing bites from his plate. I ordered the sesame chicken and it was delicious too! Found a new favorite place to eat! Happy hour is the best time to go, cheaper sushi rolls and if it's not busy you get the best attention and food.

The staff is very nice and helpful. My family usually does the hibachi show. The entertainers are very well trained and skilled because you get a very playful connection as they crack jokes while cracking eggs.

Great chefs. If you are looking for an aweso.e experience. Sit at the bar. My wife and I first timers. Awesome food. Amazing atmosphere.

The food is good, in the happy hour deals AR nice. I like that you can substitute hot and sour soup for the plain old egg drop. The Biggest complaint about this place is they nickel-and-dime you for everything. Heavy broccoli on the hibachi adds $1, asking for no onions in the hibachi noodles was a $0.50 up charge (I have never heard of charging extra to leave something out). Pretty much standard hibachi, just watch out for the up charges.

The food was great and the restaurant was very clean. The cook was excellent with a great personality. I'll definitely go back again.

This restaurant is amazing. The building is clean, the food is presented very well, and the prices are cheap for the amount of food you receive. I ordered the tofu and vegetables, which came with a soup course, and other small appetizers. The main course was a huge portion and I filled up my to-go box with plenty of leftovers for another meal. The food was delicious and the wait was not long at all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

If u ever go u must try the tuna tower only if u like tuna lol

It was a dark venue but sure they had it that way for ambience. My friend and I were greeted at the door and then asked if we were there for dine in or hibachi. Dine in since it was our first time. The server was quick to get us as well and took our drink order. I stepped away to use the restroom. That area could've used some attention. Scraps of paper on the floor, tile broken and hanging soap dispensers were empty but had large soap bottles to pump from. Aside from that, we came during happy hour. They had a large selection of sushi rolls to choose from. The waitress was sweet, attentive and happy to answer any questions we had. We received our meal...4 different sushi rolls. Presentation was on point and tasted amazing. Hats off to the chef. We were happy and full. Plus more people came in and could hear the experience of those having hibachi. This definitely will be a repeat place and we'll have to try the hibachi.

Great service, clean and great sushi. As everyone else here suggests, get the shaggy dog roll....you shouldn't be disappointed. They also have a happy hour sushi list with about a dozen rolls, and the shaggy dog is one. Will definitely be returning!!

I've had sushi from dozens of places, and I can confidently say that Akaihi ranks among the top 3. I've only eaten there once, but it was soooooooo good! The fish is fresh. The rolls are well proportioned. The flavor is exquisite! The server recommended a spicy roll (the name eludes me). I don't usually do spicy with my sushi, but I'm so glad I tried it. It was out of this world! It's the bottom roll in the picture I included. The fried roll was also very, very good. And it's very well priced! The server made sure my glass was never empty, too. That's how you can judge great service. If you need to ask for a refill, then they've missed the ball. Overall a great dining experience.

Great happy hour! $2.50 bottles of domestic? Yep! The spicy tuna was very good as well.

The hibachi is by far the best I've ever had in the United States! I've traveled all over and even into Europe, but nothing compares to the food. The entertainment is not quite their forte, but I can guarantee you will not leave disappointed with the food. The sushi is made fresh in house and is also phenomenal. It's a great family place and I highly recommend this for a date night!

The food is just amazingly Japanese. Loved it! Especially when I came in all ravenous for lunch with my parents. The service was exceptional.

It's been our favorite place for years. Staff is great, awesome cooks, and love how friendly the owner is. They are always really sweet when we have our family dinners. Kids love love love it.

Went here during lunch on Thursday and had the sushi lunch special. It came with miso soup and a salad (both were ok not amazing). One special had a shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, and one more more roll that was yummy. The second special had sashimi (raw fish on top of rice), spicy tuna roll, and a regular roll. Not too much flavor in the second special. The staff was polite and the restrooms were clean. It wasn't busy during lunch and for the price and quantity of food it was a good place.

Kitchen lunch special Sesame beef: my dad got this and he said it reminded him of orange chicken, due to the sweet gravy/glaze. The vegetables were good. The rice tasted good but it was soggy so texture was disappointing.

My food here is always fresh and delicious. There is one chef that I like the most. I try to get him every time! I don't get to go often but I love it!

This place is cool they cook the food with basically a comedy show right in front of you. The best fried rice I've ever had excellent flavors. I only take one star away because the beef was a little tough. But it still had great flavor.

I love the sushi and hibachi entrees. Edwin was such a pleasure to have as well as the other two men who were preparing our meals. The spicy sauce is to die for! But beware as many people can't handle the intense build of the heat. Will definitely keep coming back!
